“STARS & STRIPES OVER RICHMOND”

   . . . . for the youth of Fort Bend County



“Stars & Stripes Over Richmond” Is A Fund Raising Project For Boy Scout Troop 1656, One Of The Top Troops In Fort Bend County. Troop 1656 Provides An Opportunity For Development Through The Many Activities And Skills Learned And Practiced By Its Scouts.  

Activities Like Hiking, Camping, Conducting Service Projects, Advancement, Leadership Training, And Associating With Community Leaders Make The Scouting Process Complete. Yet, Many Scouts Are Unable To Participate In The Full Range Of These Activities.  

Your Support Of “Stars & Stripes Over Richmond” Will Help The Boys Purchase Equipment And To Offset The Cost Of Troop Activities. A Portion Will Also Be Dedicated To Camperships (Camping Scholarships) For Scouts In The Troop. With Your Approval, Members Of The Troop Will Display A 3’ X 5’ American Flag In Your Yard Six Days Each Year (4Th Of July, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day And Flag Day).

Troop 1656 proudly provides the flag service in the following communities:

Plantation Place
Rio Vista
Rivers Edge (Hwy 359 & Hwy 90)
Texana Plantation
Long Meadow Farms

Brynmar Place
Shadow Grove Estates

For other communities not listed above, including Pecan Grove, Pecan Lakes, New Territory, Greatwood, Tara, and Tory Lane, please contact Troop 1000 to participate in their flag program.
